Excerpts from Recent Lectures and Guidance

February 8, 2015: New Year Gathering in Kochi

It is our heart which gives shape to chaos, and creates future  reality each and every second. This is what I have explained to you as Ju-Hatsu-Shiki. Our heart perceieves and interprets the world, materializes the future one by one, shapes it and forms a result.

And once it has become a result, it can never revert back to the original chaos, or to the original state. The function of our heart has such an important role indeed. Like this, until we die, we will continue to give shape to our future and reality, in other words to chaos.

If so, just like what has been shown to you before, if there are two cards; “good fortune” and “bad fortune,” wouldn't you all want to choose the card of “good fortune?” Anyone would think that they would want to choose a better path for their future. There is in fact a force that leads the future towards a better path at such a moment.

That force is what I call The Twelve Bodaishin. The Twelve Bodaishin is the wisdom and force within the great universe and nature. The cards of the Twelve Bodaishin is indeed what makes them flow into us.

I would like to explain about this further. The everyday movement of our heart has such an important role in determining our future. However, at times we may become bad tempered, feel unsettled, feel we cannot forgive others, our anger may explode, or we may feel weighed down. Even though it is our own heart, we struggle to control it. I’m sure that all of you hold various thoughts within your heart too.

For example, I want you to imagine when intense anger rises within you. With this angry heart, which are we going to choose –the good fortune or the bad fortune? If we attack the other person with a single stroke of the sword of anger, feeling “ I cannot forgive,” we would also cut the long relation of trust, and at times destroy it in an instant. It is as if the tower of building blocks collapse in an instance, crushing into pieces. It often happens that our trusted relationship or human relationship are broken by such acts. Conditions that cannot be undone is indeed what we ourselves create.

For such a heart, what sort of Bodaishin do you think is required? There is in fact a Bodashin of Heart like the Sky. Heart like the Sky is a Bodaishin of a heart that is vast and free, that lives without attachments. By gaining such power in our hearts, we are able to tell ourselves to wait for a moment and to stop ourselves to calm down the anger that can destroy human relationships with a single stroke like a sword. Then, we could end up avoiding to choose the card of bad fortune.
