This phenomenal world is a place in which souls of younger and older generations continuously take on various challenges in life and learn together in a common environment.

The Local Study Group is a microcosm of the phenomenal world in that it represents such a training place for the soul. It is a place in which people of different generations can mutually share wisdom that can only arise from the conditions of each respective generation.

You cannot acquire a certain set of experiences unless you are born in that respective era. So this study group enables those from one, say, older generation to share its experience for the benefit of a younger generation and vice versa.

What are your impressions of this? This is what the Local Study Group is about. There is not only difference in era, but difference in family environments as well. Also, differences in occupation obviously result in wisdom that is exclusive to each occupation and that is also  available to each participant.

Furthermore, normally, it is possible for a soul to experience only one life. However, in the Local Study Group, we share and discuss our life experiences with one another. In addition to empathetic listening, this enables us to have direct access to a variety of wisdom of experience beyond our own subjective lives. This is, in fact, what we mean by the “Local Study Group as a microcosm of the phenomenal world as a training place for the soul.”
