Excerpts from Recent Lectures and Guidance
August 31, 2012: Summer Special Memorial Services held in Tokyo
at the Prayer Hall in the General Headquarter
In the long history of mankind up to the present, how many souls have been born and have died? There may be some who share the same name. However, a soul with a specific appearance and specific experiences, can only be that person, no matter how vast the universe is or how long history may be.
Your relationships with each individual are connected to your soul and mind-heart, so that if you call out his or her name, and talk about your shared memories, those memories and their frequency will connect us to that soul like a telephone.
Therefore, unlike general memorial services in which a prayer by the priest or officiant is sufficient to serve the purpose, GLA’s Special Memorial Services require someone like you who knows that person very well; because the connection with that person becomes an important pillar of the event, which is conducted as if making a telephone call.
Your memories serve like telephone numbers and enable you to call that person specifically. This is because the wishes and regrets of that person, of that soul lie within those memories.
