Excerpts from Recent Lectures and Guidance
August 7, 2014: Summer Special Memorial Service in Tokyo
Each of you calling out to your deceased family members or friends with an open heart for this special memorial service is the most precious thing you can do for their souls. That is because you know each of them and have lived together with them through the joys and sorrows in their lives.
How did these departed souls live their lives and how are they doing now back in the dimension of the soul? You must have all thought about each person who has departed and wondered about that at various times.
In other words, there is nobody in this world whose feelings of affection are stronger than each of yours towards the ones who have departed. What connects your thoughts with the departed soul, more than anything, is for all of you to call out to them so that they can hear your voices and take a serious look back on their own lives.
There may be others who have the same name in the world, but as far as experiencing that particular life or destiny, search as you may in the past, present or future, there is only that one person. Adjust ones’ self to the frequency, name and memories of that person and call out to them.
I’m sure you are all feeling, “How are they feeling now? What kind of world are they in?” And with hope we feel, “What will they convey to me? What kinds of feelings will they appeal to me?” If we do so, I believe what they convey to us will become a guidepost in life for us living in this world.
Therefore, more than anything, I would like all of you to keep in mind as a premise that when a family member or a friend passes away, everything about that person has not been lost, but that there are signs that give us the feeling of their existence.
In the 20th century our thoughts were “If human beings live to the age of 80, death is all what is left to them. That is the end. Life becomes zero.” However, the presence that we feel of each of the deceased, those signs that make us feel that they have not completely disappeared, even when we try to deny them over and over again, are left in our hearts. “It is certain that humans die. However, they are merely discarding their physical bodies, and their existences remain.”
Therefore, with all of your thoughts and feelings, please bring to mind your precious departed loved ones and call out to them from the bottom of your heart.
