Excerpts from Recent Lectures and Guidance

Each one of you have taken the time, as a part of your personal memorial service, to reflect on the precious souls deeply connected to you. This is more than anything, a valuable treasure for you and the deceased.

Think about this. During your lifetime you experience the ups and downs, sadness and joy, and then your life ends. At that time, if someone who didn’t know you prayed from a sutra you had never read before, you probably would not understand it. However, when someone that knows you well, as unpolished as it may be, talks about their memories with you or what happened in your life, it connects to you. That is because they are the ones in this world who know the souls in the other world the best.

When you are calling a friend, aren’t you thinking about that person while you dial his number? In the same way, you are able to tune into that person who you have had strong connections with by bringing back your memories of him so that his image appears clearly in your heart. Tuning into someone is actually the same as calling people. Although the universe is vast and you may share the same name with someone else, no one person’s life has formed in the same way or has had the same bits of memories. Therefore, you can serve as a major connection as you call out to that person, a trigger to connect. When you demonstrate that power, those souls will gather here on this occasion through this connection with you.

The special memorial service at GLA is more than just a priest, giving a prayer. It is where each person thinks about, prays for and feels love for the deceased and calls out to him. I connect your wish to the person in the other world. Some may be in the dimension of light and others in the dimension of deep darkness. However, if you set your channel to that person, no matter what dimension they are in, you will certainly be able to meet them on this occasion.

Let us now take some time to pray by bringing forth those feelings which you devoted into calling upon souls during the last few days. This will bring the two dimensions, this world and the other world which cannot be seen together and the soul you have called upon will come here and sit right next to you. With that thought in your heart, please pray with me.
