Excerpts from Recent Lectures and Guidance

February 3, 2013: New Year Gathering in Kurashiki (Kurashiki Geibunkan)

Living in this world, we face various realities which are very burdensome. These are realities that cannot be controlled, are inhibiting, result in our lives not going smoothly or are difficult to overcome. In other words, we are in situations from which there is no escape, dead ends. So in this situation, we feel that our life is coming to an end.

Yet, the practice of the Divine Truth that we examined before teaches us that even when we come to a standstill and at times fall into despair, this is not the end. Rather, it is a beginning. It is a chance for us humans to transform ourselves, to initiate metamorphoses.
I would like you to think in the following way when you encounter difficult realities.
“The whistle for beginning human transformation, human metamorphosis, for me to change, has been blown”
“This is the time for me to transform myself. I will begin now”
At the time of an ordeal, please think that a whistle to begin metamorphosis has been blown.

Human transformation does not imply that you become another person. It means that your real self that already existed within you begins to reappear. The self that appears after human transformation is in fact, your real self.
